An International Network Serving Economic Francophonie

Founded in 2022 in Tunis, the Alliance of Francophone Employers (APF) has quickly established itself as a key player in the economic Francophonie. Representing over one million companies through 44 national employer organizations from 36 countries across five continents, the Alliance works to build bridges between Francophone economies and remove regulatory barriers that hinder trade.

In a Francophone space that now counts over 320 million speakers, projected to reach 750 million by 2050, the APF embodies an ambitious vision: make French a business language that matters, foster cooperation among Francophone companies, and nurture economic champions on an international scale.

A Digital Platform Developed by Omerlo

To support this ambitious mission, the APF chose Omerlo to replace its website with a modern digital media platform: www.patronats-francophones.org. This state-of-the-art platform is now at the heart of the organization’s communication strategy and serves as the convergence point for the entire economic Francophonie.

The media platform developed by Omerlo enables the Alliance to:

  • Broadcast the latest news on economic Francophonie and Francophone foreign direct investments

  • Promote major events such as La REF (Rencontre des Entrepreneurs Francophones), an annual gathering of over 1,000 participants

  • Animate its network of 44 member employer organizations across five continents

  • Share strategic economic information relevant to Francophone companies

  • Highlight its support services and thematic working groups

  • Connect economic decision-makers within the Francophone world

A Technical Solution Serving an International Mission

Omerlo developed a robust and scalable digital architecture reflecting the Alliance’s international scope. The platform integrates advanced content management features for diverse content: news, events, member organizations, people, economic information, and services.

Key Features of the Implementation:
  • Managing a complex network: The platform allows for the management and presentation of the 44 member organizations, their representatives, and interactions, creating a dynamic directory of economic Francophonie.

  • Investor portal: Integration of specialized tools to track Francophone foreign direct investments, in partnership with organizations such as Trendeo.

  • Major events: Event management system to promote La REF and the multiple economic missions organized by the Alliance worldwide.

  • Scalable architecture: A technical infrastructure capable of supporting the Alliance’s rapid growth and adding new functionalities over time.

  • Optimized user experience: Intuitive navigation designed for an international audience of busy decision-makers and entrepreneurs.

A Strategic Tool to Accelerate Economic Francophonie

The digital platform developed by Omerlo aligns perfectly with the Alliance’s strategic priorities: consolidate achievements, strengthen international openness, and promote economic Francophonie. It has become a key lever to stimulate cooperation, facilitate co-investments, and foster the emergence of Francophone economic champions.

The Alliance uses its media platform to:

  • Distribute its monthly newsletter on Francophone investments

  • Communicate on its economic and commercial missions in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas

  • Promote the work of its seven thematic committees, covering topics such as professional training, ecological transition, digital transformation, and financing

A Partnership Resonating with Quebec Values

The collaboration between the APF and Omerlo carries symbolic significance. Quebec, represented within the Alliance by the Conseil du patronat du Québec, plays an active role in the organization’s governance.

By developing the APF’s digital platform, Omerlo directly contributes to the visibility of economic Francophonie and demonstrates the ability of Quebec-based companies to deliver international-caliber technological solutions for major causes.

The platform supports the Alliance’s growth by providing a scalable digital infrastructure, adaptable to the needs of a constantly expanding organization aiming to become the reference point for global economic Francophonie.
