Always seeking new ways to communicate effectively with its clientele, Groupe Maurice, a company specializing in retirement residences in Quebec, turned to Omerlo's services to develop the mobile app THÉIA.

An App Designed for Retirees

As surprising as it may seem, digital technology continues to cross generational boundaries, with 80% of Quebec adults aged 65 and over connected to the Internet. In fact, the majority use it daily, clearly showing that technology is not just for the younger generations. In light of this, Groupe Maurice took the initiative to meet the new aspirations of its residents by creating a new mobile app, THÉIA. This interactive communication channel brings together all the information related to life in Groupe Maurice residences, along with a TV channel, tablet, and smartphone.

Everything, Everywhere, All the Time

Activity schedules, cafeteria menu summaries, events, photo galleries, surveys, residence news... All the content that helps residents better navigate their daily lives is available in real-time. The relatives of retirees living in one of Groupe Maurice's buildings also have free access to the app. Upon opening the app, users select their residence, which virtually opens its doors, displaying its own unique identity. On one hand, this helps residents feel secure, socialize, and plan their days. On the other, Groupe Maurice ensures more transparent, human, and harmonious communication with its clientele.
